Cecilia Khuzwayo
Client Partner: Executive Coaching
Cecilia Khuzwayo holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Diploma in Industrial Relations. She completed her coaching qualification with the i-coach academy at Stellenbosch University and is a member of the International Coaching Federation.
Her working background includes ten years experience with Unilever finishing as a Senior Brand manager, five years with the Tongaat Hullett Group as Human Resources Development Manager, and three years with the SABC as Human Resources Executive Director. When the Group Chief Executive was removed, the Board appointed her to be the acting Group CEO for SABC, a position she managed with great tenacity for 9 months until a permanent CEO was appointed. |
During her tenure as acting Group CEO at the SABC, she implemented a turnaround for the corporation from a R10 million loss to R3 million profit. One of her major accolades was being accorded a title of media woman of the year by the Saturday Star; this was in recognition of the improvements effected in liaising with all stakeholders and changing the image of the corporation to an accessible resource for the media community. Cecilia has been running her own consulting company working mainly in the public sector in Human Resources and Programme Management, Coaching and Mentoring.
Cecilia has served in various organisations at board level, and is currently Chairperson of the Human Resources & Remuneration Committee within the Board of a waste management organisation in Johannesburg.
She joined Leaders Unlimited in July 2007 to start up Leaders Executive Coaching Services. |
