Raymond Chasenski has a B Com and B Acc degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA). Raymond served his articles at Deloitte & Touche and went onto the role of audit manager, where some of his major clients included; Murray & Roberts, Scaw Metals, GEC Alsthom, Nandos, Malbak Motor Holdings, New Housing Company and the United Cricket Board of South Africa.

 

Raymond has over ten years of corporate financial management experience. He started his career in the IT industry where he held the position of Financial Director of Enterprise Connection, an IT hardware, software and solutions provider, and part of the listed Connection Group.

 

Raymond also spent a number of years in the glass industry as Financial Director of PG Glass. Here he was integrally involved in the restructuring of automotive and building glass into a single retail entity, as well as the structuring and implementation of their franchising and joint venture strategy.

 

Raymond has also gained experience in the brand consulting and marketing industry as Chief Operating Officer of Enterprise IG, a subsidiary of WPP Plc, the world's largest communication services group. Here he was responsible for the whole Africa and Middle East region and was instrumental in identifying, assessing and structuring an empowerment deal whereby a 30% equity stake in the South African company was sold to a BEE consortium. He was also instrumental in creating a joint venture with a local entity in the Middle East market, and creating an affiliate structure in the Egyptian market.

 

More recently Raymond teamed up with Brian Khumalo to form a BEE investment company Olamuhk, and focus on niche BEE investment opportunities, as well as a number of green fields operations. The current focus is on creating a talent solutions group, of which Leaders Unlimited is the pre-eminent brand.
